About Robert

“Bob’s collection of sculptures blends industrial relics and natural timber. Each piece is a narrative of tool and timber, past and present, community and nature.”

Raised in the wheatbelt and now calling the forested hills between Collie and Darkan home, Robert Turner, the creator behind R.T. Arts, channels his lifelong passion for mechanics and artisan craftsmanship into his art.

Artistic Vision
Robert transforms vintage machinery, hand tools, reclaimed timber, and local materials into evocative sculptures that reflect his passion of timber heritage, and lush bushland. He is deeply inspired by the resilient, hardworking characters of the central West, and by the natural world that surrounds him .
